Clerk Position PT: The Highland Public Library is seeking a part-time Circulation Clerk to join their customer service oriented team. Primary responsibilities include library service transactions and routine clerical duties to maintain the librarys efficient flow of materials. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds, with a willingness to learn. Qualifications, Desired Knowledge, Skills: Excellent customer service skills and an ability to work well with others as well as independently. Knowledge of basic computer functions with willingness and ability to stay up to date as technology changes. Strong communication skills. Ability to represent the library in a professional and courteous manner. Accept other duties as assigned. Requirements: Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Previous library experience is a plus. This is a non-competitive Civil Service position.
Hours: Hours may change; Monday: 10 A.M.-5 P.M. Wednesday: 10 A.M.-12 P.M. Saturday: 10 A.M.4 P.M. Wage: $18-$20/hr. to start based on experience.
